Hello to the PCP net members:

Due to a failure to have mastered some of the more arcane
procedures of the system, I have missed the action of the last two months?

I am taking a break from work on a paper I am putting together, and
thought that I would ask the net members for some input.

George Kelly published his PSYCHOLOGY OF PERSONAL CONSTRUCTS in
1955. Eleven years later, Berger and Luckman published their SOCIAL
CONSTRUCTION OF REALITY.
During the last 40 years constructionism has gained a respectable
position in psychological work.
The productions of the people who have followed the work of Kelly
have thought of their work as PERSONAL CONSTRUCT PSYCHOLOGY. The scholars
who have followed Berger and Luckman seem to think of their work as
SOCIAL CONSTRUCTIONISM.

Some workers in both camps would identify themselves as PSYCHOLOGISTS.

I'ld like to have some response to this questions:

Is there something special which Personal Construct
Psychologists have to offer Social Constructionist
Psychologists?

Any suggestions????
