Hello to PCP network participants:

Gavin asks if it is possible to get a copy of the program
ANGRID, which I described briefly in my previous posting.

We are happy to make our programs available on the same basis
that we make available our other programs -- PAREP and SELFGRIDS.
That is, we distribute them liberally, asking [as is the practice with
shareware producers] that the recipients contribute the costs of materials,
time involved in disk reproduction, and mailing -- which, we estimate to be
about 25.00 US dollars. If a prospective user cannot easily find a way to
make that contribution, we allow him/her to do his/her best!! In other
words, we are not "marketing" these programs.

I will forward to the net the message which I sent, containing a
very short description of ANGRID. I reviewed the program again, after I
had sent out the original message, and I revived my own interest in the
program. The programmer who did the work created a very imaginative
series of subroutines, arranged the data inputs very cleverly, and did
some neat tricks with error messages and data storage. He followed our
advice on programming, working toward the end that the program could
perform, even if the contents of the items might change.

Happy gridding!!!
