tripping to Barcelona

I just got some information from my travel agent about fares to
Barcelona for the first week of July, 1995. She reported that midweek
to midweek travel will run around $900 for me if I originate in
Little Rock, Arkansas, and that the variations for others in the
United States would vary about that average price (although actual
prices have not been listed yet by the airlines). This price is one
generated by buying through a consolidated or brokered block agent,
one who buys blocks of tickets on many flights in preparation for the
tourist season. She stated that it would be almost impossible to get
a group fare for people originating from multiple locations.
