I'm afraid norms aren't exactly pcp people's cup of tea.
However if you can get hold of jane Chetwynd's phd thesis somehow, you might
find some useful information. she had access to the hundreds of grids that
Patrick slater analysed. If I remember correctly one of the (many) things she
looked at were the psychometric properties of grids that differed in the number
of constructs elicited, with a view to determining the optimal number to be
elicited. Someone may know how to get hold of a copy in the UK where it should
be at the university where slater worked.
