Dear Padraig=20

I think that this issue about change and reconstruction processes is =
interesting and it can be used to conceptualize the process of giving up =
cigarettes. I work with persons who want to stop smoking and to reach =
this aim they participate at a group session of 10 meeting of one hour =
and half each. So I see how this kind of change is complex and for the =
most part of the persons very slow and it need to be experimented in =
every day life. The person that involve himself in this challenge is =
experimenting a new way to construe his experience and anticipate the =
events, he is appraising how his anticipations are still valid and what =
of his system need to be revised. This process of reconstruction is =
lived from the person that pass through experience cycles and generally =
touch maintenance process and important dimensions involved in =
sociality.

Personally I don't trust on the persons who promise simple, easily and =
fast way to change a behavior all the more so as the person has choose =
this behavior for so many years; it seem a method that furnish a "magic =
key" to a passive person that accept this reconstruction because he is =
tired, it's so many hours that he's with him and he wants to go home. =
But how about success and failure rate at long time? is it a fashionable =
technique, or a "smoke on sale" ?
