Robin's comments are interesting to me, particularly at the end about the
"cyclical loop". My approach to that is to regard fun, happy etc as
"results of" rather than a superordinate construct on the ladder. So I say
something like "OK, I can see that, but what I would now like to know what
is it in X that makes it fun?" That usually produces another personal
construct that seems to be on the ladder and takes it a step up.
