This is a version of what I have been calling the "Element Reference"
in my document content poll. I find such a reference very useful (as
did everyone else who answered the poll), but I find mine more useful
than yours, because (1) I pretty much need to be able to generate it
here so I can check my work, and (2) from what I can tell, we need
plain text, HTML and postscript versions of whatever we come up with
and I don't see how to get that from your version, and (3) mine
includes references to other parts of the HTML spec that discuss that
element.

If there's anything in Yuri's document that should be in the spec
(i.e. http://www.hal.com/%7Econnolly/html-spec/L2index.html) but
isn't, let me know.

If his is "just plain better" in spite of the maintenance issues
above, we can look at ways to integrate his version in the spec.
