In fact, all the INPUT types would make the FORM author the designer
of the client user interface. Using the ENCTYPE attribute of the FORM element
is an alternative to resolve the INPUT TYPE problem. However, we have
already crossed bridge. According to the current practice, we already
have a set of INPUT types.
It is important to define a set of fundamental INPUT types in HTML 2.0.
I agree to Larry's proposal which covers the missing fundamental types.
