The EXPIRES markup in the META example in the Oct 14 draft is junk
left over from earlier drafts. There is no EXPIRES element nor
attribute.

The validation service is correct in this case, I believe. If you have
any specific cases that you think should parse, could you send me the
complete details -- input and error messages?
