The Mil-M-1840 Working Group was trying to get CGM registered as a
MIME type. I am not sure where that effort stands at the moment.
I think a Vector format (CGM) should be supported. It would be
great to have browsers actually support vector as well as the
embedded intelligence in CGM. A while back I remember hearing
rumours that SGML markup was going to be included in the CGM
standard. Anyone know anything about that or was I dreaming?
