Werner, you say that you can pick up the XMosaic default home
page directly but not via a link from your own home page.
I suspect that this is a bug in the link.  Try picking it
up with

www -v

to see what it is trying to pick up, and if that doesn't show
you what is going wrong, mail the trace to me.
