I have developed a somewhat similar facility, in this case,
designed to allow students and staff here to annotate 
problem sets and course notes.  The working prototype is

The current design requires you to "log in" to read anything.
You can use any name you like (but won't be able to add
annotations) or you pretend to be a CS212 student, in which
case use "cs212" as your password.
