This system has been designed with the scrupulous librarian in
mind, with an intuitive
user interface, as well as numerous advanced features that will
make your life a lot easier. The Book Management System, or
BMS, has been divided into 3 main sections:

| You will find that this manual has been set up according to those sections. By dividing the system up as such, it has allowed us to retain maximum functionality while keeping the entire system very easy to use and understand. |
| The system has been set up to use forms and data fields, which keep typing and mouse-clicking to a minimum. As well, these forms are displayed within windows which keeps the user interface very tidy and compact, which again reduces mouse movement. This manual has been designed with the same philosophies that the system was designed with: easy to use, without sacrificing utility. Beneath each function definition, you will find a short description, a short walkthrough of how to use that particular function, and a listing of the possible error messages as well as the possible causes for each instance of that message. |
