There was a group, I believe at James Cook University but not in the Psychology
Department, at the International Conference in Townsville, Queensland,
Australia, who did rep-grid type analyses for purposes of designing
travel/tourist TV commercials to focus on the constructive "appeal" to
different groups: yuppies, rural people, urban middle class, young eligible
singles, etc. in terms of different commercials concerning vacations, for
example, at the same spot.

They presented at the International Congress in Townsville.

That's all I remember.

Dear all,

I have a friend who is hoping to prepare a paper for Barcelona on PCP and the
media. He's interested in things like audience reactions etc. Has anyone been
using pcp in this way? He would like to correspond with you if so, or if you
know of any such work.

His name is Maurie Scott, email: m.scott@uow.edu.au

Thanks,
Beverly Walker
