No! Thank you, Dave, for saying what I was thinking. The entire
concept of "tabbing" is a throw back to typewriters. I don't feel
tabbing has any place in a proportional font/spacing world, much
less a bit mapped world. Alignment is a concept, and so are tables,
but "tab characters" are not.
