I'd like to invite someone from Netscape who works on HTML extensions
to come to the next HTML WG meeting in Danvers, so that your opinions
are represented. I know it's a bit much to ask you to travel to
Boston, but it was unfortunate that no-one showed up in San Jose.

I didn't get any reply to my mail to 'standards@netscape.com', so I
thought I'd poke you directly.

http://www.netscape.com/info/open-standards.html

says

o Work within the open standards process to innovate new
functionality in ways that promote openness and
interoperability.

As far as I can see, IETF is the only 'open standards process' around.
