Building shared Andrew libraries is as easy as adding '-fpic' to
CFLAGS and '--shared' to the link command. However, there is no
distribution of ELF X libraries yet, so Andrew wouldn't be very
useful.

I think, /usr/include/sys/cdefs.h is the problem:
