This document contains all development information required for Mammoth. It begins with the basic system requirements of the system, and then discusses the functionality of the system in the User Interaction section. These two sections allow readers to grasp the basic features and functionality of Mammoth.

The next section, Detailed Design Specifications, contains details that provide the basis for implementing Mammoth. This section provides the Data Abstraction, Data Stores and Process Specifications. This last subsection describes in detail the major processes that will provide the system functionality. Appendix C-Data Flow Diagrams- provides a graphical representation of the processes and data flows described through the Process Specifications.

The Testing Specifications and Plan provide testing details and plans that will be used by the developers to assure the quality of the Mammoth system.

The development of the Mammoth system has grown and matured from the initial stages of its design. This is not to say that Mammoth's design is set in stone. Changes and adjustments are enivatable. This document wil strive to be as complete and up to date as possible, but may occassionally differ from the actual product.
