Adding a Retail Customer Record

To Add a Customer Record


  1. Press the Add button located near the top left portion of the form. This will clear all fields displayed in the form.
  2. Enter information into each of the fields. By placing the mouse over a field and pressing the left mouse button the user can then enter data into the field. Do not press enter. Doing so will cause the record to be updated.

    Enter Mom & Pops in the company field.
    Enter Doe in the last name field.
    Enter John in the first name field.
    Enter (403)555-5555 in the telephone field.
    Enter the delivery address in the delivery address field.
    Enter T0A 0V2 in the postal code field.
    Assume that Mom & Pops locates in district one and the service route is one and route order is two, then enter 1 in the district field and 1 in the delivery route field and 2 in the route order field.
    Enter the mailing address in the mail address field.
    In the Delivery notes box enter any note you want.

  3. Once all fields have been filled click the OK button to update the database. Mom & Pops is now a Northam customer.
