This is a report on the topic of typography, especially electronic typography. A presentation was made in the CPSC547 class on the 7th Febuary, 1995. Issues covered includes the definitions and use of typography in computer as well as electronic publishing.
The presentation was made in a team of four people, they are: Oliver Shay, Kenny Wong, Alan Mitsugi and me, Norman Choo. My part was to focus in on the topic of Computer Typography, as such, I was responsible for that part in the presentation and in the topic paper as well. What you will find in the other sections are topics related to typography. The manner in which the content is arranged is consistent with the presentation that I have made. However, additions have been made to enrich its content and to have a closer, more indepth look into the topic. Unlike presentation, there is no time constrain and there are references to more collection of information that is available for furthur reading.
