The possibilities of virtual entertainment are really only limited to one's imagination. The vast array of options will be many fold that possible with video games today. Since by its definition Virtual Reality feels real to the user, it can be a much more complete experience than what is possible with current entertainment media. Entertainment with VR would be completely immersive and would appeal to all of the senses. For example, a user could score the winning touchdown at the superbowl and not feel any different than if he were playing football with his friends. At present, the technology to implement this level of virtual reality does not exist. All that is present now are crude VR games that often leave the participant feeling sick due to the latency in the controlling computer.
