Hi Bob!
Can't assist with the first specifically, but if you're interested in
Ravenette's work in general, it could be useful to know that he's done 2
items for the EPCA Newsletter, one on micro-grids and one on the derivation
of the term "repertory", as in "grid". Shout and I'll send you a copy
(better still, join EPCA!)
>2) In a 1992 copy of an EPCA newsletter I recently came across,
>there is a description of a content analysis technique by Peter
>Honey. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has used
>this technique or has knowledge of it.
I've used Honey's method in a variety of applications e.g. job analysis
(managerial, clerical, & secretarial jobs); research (professionalisation
of counselling students, development of trading links with eastern Europe,
intuition in bank commercial lending, intuition in venture capital
decision-making). In most cases it has been as a pilot study of a small
sample prior to development of questionnaire instruments for a larger
follow-up.
Hence my interest in writing the EPCA Newsletter item to which you refer.
Please e-mail me for biblio. references & further particulars; if you have
particular questions on Honey's technique that you feel colleagues might
share, I'll gladly respond via the pcp newsgroup also.
Kindest regards,
Devi Jankowicz
