Newcomer on the block!

Hello PCPers of the world, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Barbara
Simpson and I am a doctoral student in the Department of Management Studies and
Labour Relations at The University of Auckland, New Zealand. My general field
of interest is strategic management and I am using Rep Grid to probe the
connection between individual perceptions of the strategic environment and the
construction of organizational knowledge in the strategy domain. My academic
background is in physics and I have worked for 20 years as a reserach scientist
and environmental consultant. This means that I am still on a steep learning
curve in the disciplines relevant to my new research interests, but at least I'm
not hindered by unnecessary baggage!!
I look forward to fruitful exchanges through this network, and perhaps in time
getting to meet some of you.
