Hello again

We have quite a few documents which contain footnotes, i.e. links to
short clarifications or definitions which don't break the flow of the
main text. Other browsers generally display them separately from the
main text in pop-up windows, but they remain part of the document, not
a separate file.

I'm trying to translate these documents into HTML. Any chance of a
footnote tag in HTML to make life easier?

Pro tem, I'll probably shove them at the end after a separator, and put
intra document links there and back, but I can't help thinking there's
a more elegant way.
