The book edited by Jim Mancuso and Mildred Shaw called "Cognition and Personal
Structure: Computer Access and Analysis" Praeger, 1988 is a good starting point.
It's already dated, and it would be nice if someone took on the task of
an update, but there is some thoughtful material on the issues you mention.
