I share your interest in a constructivist perspective on health psychology.
Michael Mahoney has a book in progress but it's unavailable to date.

There is a forthcoming conference on Reconstructing health psychology in
Canada next year. Unfortunately it coincides with the International PCP
Congress in Berlin, but details are on: www.med.mun.ca/health99
