mental-illness and violence/abuse

I am interested in finding out where there are any places in Europe or
England
where programs are run for people who have a mental illness and are
victims of violence and/or abuse.

Next year we hope to run such a program in Gippsland, south-eastern
Australia, using Personal Construct
Theory. Our program is aimed at building self-esteem.

I would be interested to know about any comparable research in this area.
