Hi
=20
This has been a rather long and hot discussion, and a extremely =
absorbing one. Thanks for all the useful inputs!
Certainly we can't -and shouldn't- ignore the neurological part of =
"schizophrenia". But it is my personal feeling that "schizo" -whatever =
that may be, is a very, VERY complex issue, one that cannot be accounted =
by means of "damaged brain" explanations only, "psychological" theories =
only, and "sociological" or "ethnological" perspectives only -nor by any =
Frankenstein's monster, made with ill-adjusted members of the three =
realms.
The "hot" aspect of the discussion points out the part "schizo-" plays =
in our theoretical and nosological systems (and in our cultures): the =
joker, the Tarot's Le Mat -yes, quite literally! So will it be, for a =
long time -until we build that mythical Ultimate Construction System.
Or maybe sooner?
In the meantime, I'll state my own, personal transient conclusions as =
follows:
-It's always your own construction (the Fundamental Postulate)
-Trying to convey something always more complicated (the asymptotic =
approach to "Truth")
-And always look to the larger systems! (family, society, culture, and =
so on... -including yourself!)
Best wishes
