heider, attribution theory and PCP

I was reacently reading an article which referred to a 1944 paper by heider,
which was described as the foundation for attribution theory. Attributioon
theory as described in the article seemed to have aspects in common with PCP.
Kelly's 2 volumes don't appear to refer to Heider.

Does anyone know if heider's work was an influence on Kelly or the extent to
which there is commonality between the two approaches,
