Various HTTPD's have, in the past, mapped CR and LF to CRLF under the
theory "be conservative in what you send and liberal in what you
accept."

I found this out while experimenting with embedded images.

@ So, should the spec say that CR is a word space in all contexts

This would be good, IMHO.
