You have confused the archives of the HTML-IG (Implementors Group)
with that of the HTML-WG. The WG list is active, the implementor's
group list seems to be defunct. The URL you gave is for the IG, the
WG archive is best accessed at:
http://www.acl.lanl.gov/HTML_WG/archives.html
As usual, the archive is maintained nightly so it will have messages
up to and including yesterday, but not today.
