There are now two separate VMS ports in ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu,
/Mosaic/xmosaic-contrib.  See particularly README.VMS and
xmosaic-1.2.VMS.tar.Z, a full source distribution contributed by Bjorn
Nilsson of CERN.

As we are still an unfunded project and barely have the manpower to
stay afloat these days, and we have a huge heaping plate of things we
want to do, we are unable to support VMS.  Among other things, this
means that Mosaic 2.0, when it's released, won't have native VMS
support.
