Me too. I find having to make sure the mouse is in the search box to be a
major pain and annoyance. And, I never use the menu shortcuts, so I
wouldn't miss them if they went away, if that's what it took to fix the
mouse-in-search-box problem.
When I run X_Moxaic, it's under Mac-X on a Macintosh. This may color my
view of the world slightly, since the X and Mac user interfaces have some
culture clash built in. To be perfectly honest, when a good native Mac WWW
client becomes available, I'll probably stop using X-Mosaic completely.
