The UCSTRI does this, although not in an extremely elegant fashion.
It tends to look a little funny, because Xmosaic will wrap in the
middle of words if emphasis changes (e.g. if I have
<STRONG>Algori</STRONG>thms
it may wrap in the middle of the word. I'm guessing this is a Motif
text bug?
I agree that it's a server function rather than a client one, in
general.
