So I see a couple of minor interface tweaks kicked up a firestorm :-).

Here's what's probably going to happen:

- The "Search Index" button gets moved to the left side of the window,
  so it never falls off the end.  Note also that it's supposed to be
  blue in the 2.0 defaults, to differentiate it from the other
  buttons; put the following line or something similar in any existing
  app-defaults files:

  XMosaic*searchindex_button*Foreground:      #1d1d15155b5b

  There may be a "display text entry field in window when viewing an
  index; make it go away for normal documents" feature at some point
  but I don't like interfaces that mutate themselves so I'm gonna
  think on it and talk it over with our user interface expert.

- The new mouse-tracking URL display will show something like "Image,
  type GIF, from host foo.bar.com" by default, with a power user
  option for just the URL.  I'll probably put in a "don't display
  anything at all" resource too.
