Actually, I think rather than seeing someone like Microsoft come in
and appropriate HTML et al, we'll see entirely different systems..
Kaleida is promising a distributed version of their ScriptX system,
which is able to cleanly and synchronously meld video, sound, and other
data streams.
The information highway is young enough that we have no guarantees that
the main thouroughfares have even been laid out yet.
