In article <6DAB@cernvm.cern.ch> you write:
>Is there a gateway/relay between www-talk@www0.cern.ch and
>comp.infosystems.www?

Nope, thank goodness. A long time ago I complained that c.i.w had a
higher SNR than the mailing list (since the mailing list tended to
consist largely of subscription requests, unsubscription requests,
info requests...) Now the situation is otherwise.

Note that www-talk is gatewayed into the newsgroup cern.www.talk. It
is gatewayed with distribution of "cern" but makes its way outside of
there anyway; for instance, we get it on our news server here, and
we're a few miles away from CERN. :-) I just read traffic (a few days
behind) on the newsgroup and forget the list (I never was able to
unsubscribe successfully, so I just set my receiving hooks to delete
it upon receipt.)
