Core Components


Overview

The office scheduler PlaNet is intended to make the task of timetable scheduling more efficient. The system will be able to find common times for employees to hold meetings and indicate when co-workers are busy. In case of conflict, employees will be notified via an automated message sending system. Users will be able to view notifications (messages) they've received.

Meeting Management System

The Meeting Management System (MMS)  allows employees to schedule meetings with other employees.  Availabilty is confirmed by a glance; MMS will even find a time to book the meeting that fits everyone's schedule.  Every employee of Imagin8 has their own personal schedule.

To begin the Meeting Management System, the user must log on using their PlaNet login id and password. After authentication, the user is presented with the Meeting Management window. Within the Meeting Management System, an employee of Imagine8 Inc. can view and modify their own personal schedule. 

PlaNet Administration System

Imagin8's computer administration staff will appreciate the power and ease of use of the PlaNet Administration System, or PAS.  After PlaNet has verified the login and password of the administrator, the PAS window will appear, allowing the administrator to add, remove, and modify employee and meeting room information. These records consist only of identification details and do not include employee timetable details.
