Getting A Supervisor Override


Description
Many of the tasks presented here in the "Customer Administration" section require that you obtain permission from a supervisor to perform the task. The system also needs to know that you have the permission to make the requested modifications/additions.


How To Use This Function
  1. When the system requires a supervisors approval the "Supervisor Override" screen appears, displaying a message indicating what the approval is needed for, along with a field for the supervisor password.
  2. The supervisor will evaluate whether or not she/he wishes to provide the password based on the message, and if so will supply the password in the password field and select "OK". If the password is valid the procedure requiring the approval will continue, otherwise a message indicating the invalid password will appear and the supervisor can try again. If the supervisor does not wish to override the transaction, he/she need only select the "Quit" button and the transaction will be discontinued.
