- 1) Great editor (spell checking abilty) for experts
- 2) Well laid out and large easy to press buttons.
- 3) Fairly good help system.
Disadvantages
- 1) Command terms are hard to understand for new users.
- 2) Not an easy editor to learn lots of fidden functions.
- 3) Some basic functions not well laid out for user, such as sending mail.
ELM
Advantages
- 1) High degree of customization. (Get to choose your own editor)
- 2) Ability to use from text accounts.
- 3) Fast. (Text based)
Disadvantages
- 1) Not file atachments.
- 2) Hard to learn for a first time user.
- 3) Unable to create mailing lists.
Netscape Mail
Advantages
- 1) Integrated with a Web browser.
- 2) Easy to use for first time users.
- 3) Extremely easy to set up.

- 1) They used there own terminology. ('To: Mail' to compose a new message)
