Introduction
The role of the programmer
Visual Programming Languages can be of varied complexity. Some languages are
aimed at non-programmers (but knowledgeable in the field that the language
was designed for), while other languages require a programming mind to
map the relationships between data structures. Either way, the programmer
now become a designer...concepts can now be drawn directly into the
environment instead of converting it into a text-based computer language.
