Wrong!

In HTML 3.0 you will be able to use a range of markup to layout the alt
text as you want using lists, paragraphs etc. This is a major advantage
of the approach which neatly combines the needs of users for both
graphical and non-graphic clients.

Wrong again.

You will be happy to know that server side handling of
mouse clicks is still possible. The mouse click is passed
to the server as with IMG unless it is over a client-side
hotzone. Of course this requires authors to supply an ISMAP
attribute with the FIG tag ...
