You may find it useful to take a look at our paper:

Botella, L., & Gallifa, J. (1995). A constructivist approach to the
development of personal epistemic assumptions and worldviews. Journal of
Constructivist Psychology, 8, 1-18.

While it is not addressed specifically to a theoretical discussion of
Pepper's worldviews, they are sketched there and you'll find some
helpful links to other references.
