I can think of two reasons why it might be better if the
SDA attributes were not included in the base DTD: The
average user finds SGML bewildering enough as it is, and since
the DTD is *the* definitive reference it's advantageous to
keep it as simple as possible. Second, it may make
future modifications to HTML harder, since all the SDA
attributes will need to be maintained concurrently.
These aren't serious objections; I was just wondering.
