Yes, they are there .. but 2.09 is out in binary and that
will be out in source soon too. See

for changes between versions.

Yes it does. You just have to set compile options and
also link with the freeWAIS libraries. Allows direct
WAIS access by WWW clients and allows your httpd to
function as a WAIS gateway.
