Folks:

I'm happy to report that Distinct Corporation called this afternoon
and expressed their willingness to make available a 60-day evaluation
copy of their runtime stack which we will be able to distribute
without constraints.

The catch is that it will not be available until next Wednesday or so,
when they've had a chance to prepare it and we've had a chance to
mount it on the FTP site; the LII is moving lock stock and barrel to
Boston this week for the AALL meetings.

The arrangements for distribution to US academic institutions remain
unaltered, and you should contact us via FAX to make arrangements as
outlined in the previous message.  Likewise, we will continue
accelerated development of a WINSOCK version.
