I was stupid enough to forget one unconditional DEBUG message to
2.17beta distribution. This doesn't cause any problems if running
standalone, but from inetd it appends this message to each document.
I compiled fresh binaries for inetd people, and replaced the source
tar packet with a new one.

Another, more important thing: it has been brought to my attention
that many OS'es have a kernel bug that causes all connections to
remote hosts to be cut if remote identd is not responding. Therefore,
if your server host OS has this bug DO NOT USE IdentityCheck.

SunOS 4.1.1, NeXT 2.0a, ISC 3.0 with TCP 1.3, AIX 3.2.2 have the bug,
later ok. Sony News/OS 4.51, HP-UX 8-something, Ultrix 4.3 still
have the bug. Fix for Ultrix is available (CXO-8919).

Thanks to Per-Steinar Iversen for this information.
