NEW PALTZ

The State University of New York at New Paltz is recruiting
for the following faculty position. SUNY New Paltz is a small,
selective public university whose essential character is shaped
by its location in the Mid-Hudson region. It maintains a strong
commitment to the primacy of undergraduate and graduate
teaching, ethnically and culturally diverse campus population,
and international studies. It serves about 6,000 undergraduates
and 1,500 graduate students, both traditional and
nontraditional.

The position is tenure track and begins in Fall 1999. Search begins
immediately and continues until position is filled. All positions are

Psychology, Clinical/Counseling, Asst. Prof. Undergraduate
teaching includes: Adolescence & Adulthood, Research Methods and
Multicultural Psychology or Psychology of Women. Grad teaching
to include 2 of the following 3 counseling areas: Career,
Community & Multicultural. Successful applicant expected to help
revise and administer an MA counseling track. Teaching load: 3
courses per semester. Requirements: Must have Ph.D. in
counseling/clinical psych., a commitment to outstanding teaching
and an active research program. Review begins 3/1/99.
