Working with the staff of TechnoTeacher, Inc., I have prepared a
document titled the "HyTime Application Development Guide." The Guide
describes the relationship of HyTime to SGML, basic HyTime concepts,
and provides a number of examples to illustrate those concepts. The
document concentrates on HyTime linking concepts, with a number of
examples of the use of indirect addressing with various link traversal
options. I hope this material will be of value to those who are now
discussing the topic of link types.
The Guide can be obtained by anonymous ftp from the
TechnoTeacher archive ftp.techno.com in the directory
pub/HyTime/Application_Development_Guide.
Note: For those on this list who have seen earlier drafts of this
document, I have expanded the material on agglink and aggloc, as well
as added material on aggtrav in an attempt to elucidate the important -
but confusing - topic of traversal to aggregate anchors. This material
is in Chapter 4, Basic HyTime Hyperlinks, in the file links.ps.
