Actually, in some future prerelease the URL display will be the "power
user" option and the normal display will be something along the lines
of "An image in GIF format at www.ncsa.uiuc.edu" with more information
as it is available.
The two most frequent interface requests we got with 1.x were "the
search keyword field takes up too much landscape and shouldn't always
be at the bottom of the window; put it in a dialog" and "show me where
the link is going to go before I go there", and we're still working on
how to accommodate everyone :-)...
